-If convenient, please e-mail us to let us know when you have made the payment.
- If you pay by this method and your order is over $500, we will give you a free bottle of cleaning liquid. It won’t appear on your order,
but we will add it when we send your package.*
Credit card
-We don’t charge credit card fees.
-International orders paid by credit card: your bank may charge you a ‘foreign transaction fee’ (say 1-3% of the amount).
Timing
-We normally send out twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays). We will let you know if there is any delay.
-We will e-mail tracking when your order is sent.
-Freight times- normally 1-7 days.
Duties and taxes
-We send by airfreight. This is door to door. We try to make it as easy as possible (we know you are going to tell your friends about it!).
-Orders sent within Australia: you have been charged GST. If you are a business or church you can normally claim this back from the ATO at the end of the tax year.
-Orders sent outside Australia: we don’t charge any taxes or fees. Some countries charge duties and taxes when the package enters your country. These are unfortunately out of our control. If your government charges these, you will need to pay them. Then your package will be delivered to your door. If your country charges you sales tax or GST, you can often claim it back from your government at the end of your tax year (as you do for other purchases).

-Payment due before goods are sent.
-Goods will become wholly the property of the purchaser when full payment has cleared.

If we are sending your order with Australia, please ignore the information below.
If we are sending your order overseas (most of our customers are from outside Australia)- please read on.
1. Credit card:
-We don’t charge credit card fees. If you are using a credit card that is not in Australian dollars, your bank might charge you a ‘foreign transaction fee’. This is normally between 0% and 3% depending on your bank.
-If your credit card won’t process - you may get a message saying ‘card declined’ or something else. 95% of the time, this means that your bank is stopping it (your bank is worried about security). Please call your bank and ask them to allow it. Then try again.
2. Customs duties and taxes charged by your government
We don’t charge any taxes or fees. We send by airfreight. This is door to door. We try to make it as easy as possible (we know you are going to tell your friends about it!).
Some countries charge duties and taxes when the package enters your country. Mostly it is a small amount. These are unfortunately out of our control. You will need to pay these.
Several countries don’t charge anything.
How it normally works:
-We send your order.
-The order arrives at the TNT/ Fedex depot in your country.
- If there are no duties/ taxes to pay, TNT/ Fedex deliver the package to your door.
-If there are duties./ taxes to pay, TNT or Fedex call or e-mail asking you to pay sales tax or duties for your country.
-You pay this to TNT/Fedex
-TNT/ Fedex deliver the package to your door.
We send pulpits overseas every day, so here is what we know about your country. If your country is not listed below, thats fine, we can still send it to you. Please e-mail us if you have any questions.
Many customers also take pulpits with them home from Australia. This is best because the box is easy to carry and not heavy. 99% of the time your government won’t charge duties/ taxes at the airport. We have many customers who do this. We always travel with pulpits when going overseas.
Singapore:
You may need to pay GST (7%) to the singapore government. You can normally claim this back from the government at tax time (as you would for other things you buy).
Hong Kong:
HK seems to be duty free.
Canada:
You may need to pay Canadian GST (about 5%) to the Canadian government. You can normally claim this back from the government at tax time (as you would for other things you buy).
New Zealand:
NZ and Australia have a free trade agreement. NZ customs may charge you 2 clearance style fees. These will total about NZD 30-60.
NZ customs may also charge GST. This can of course be claimed by your church from the IRD at the end of your GST reporting period.
Please go to
www.procson.co.nz to order (this is our website especially for NZ customers- you can pay in NZD)
USA:
Duties: Australia has a free trade agreement with the USA (AUSFTA), so we do not expect there to be any duty charged by US customs. To our knowledge, none of our numerous US customers have been charged duty.
Sales tax: we don’t charge sales tax. US customs may want to charge it (on behalf of your state).
If you are a church: to avoid state sales tax, you may need to mention your sales tax exemption number. Please let me know this if you have it handy- it is mostly not needed, but would be helpful just in case.
If you are buying as a business: you may need to pay sales tax, but you can claim it back like you would other sales tax expenses when you do your tax return.
If buying as an individual: you may need to pay it.
We find it is rare however, that customers need to pay sales tax.
Please go to
www.procson.com to order (this is our website especially for US customers- you can pay in USD)
Nigeria+ Africa:
We send many pulpits to Nigeria!
Duties/ Taxes are charged by the Nigerian government. If you have questions about this please contact us
Indonesia:
We send many pulpits to Indonesia. Duties/ Taxes are charged by the Indonesian government. If you have questions about this please contact us. Also many Indonesian churches take them on the plane with them (for example after visiting Australia for the Hillsong conference).
South Africa:
South Africa has duties. Some times they seem to be charged, sometimes not. If you have questions about this please contact us.
Many South African churches carry pulpits back with them (for example after visiting Australia for the Hillsong conference).
South America (Argentina/ Brazil/ Chile/ Mexico…):
South American countries have duties/ taxes. If you have questions about this please contact us.
Many South American churches order from our USA website
www.procson.com. We then send their pulpit to the USA (to a friend). They collect it and take it back by plane or car.
Malaysia:
Malaysia and Australia have a free trade agreement (since the start of 2014), but sometimes duties/ taxes are still charged. This is because the free trade agreement works best for large sea shipments. If you are charged, it is still worth asking TNT/ FedEx if the charges can be removed
UK/European Union:
If you are in the UK or Europe, you can order from this website (www.procson.com.au), or our UK website
www.procson.co.uk.
If you order from this website (www.procson.com.au), your order will be sent out from Australia. In this case you may be charged VAT or sales tax (Mehrwertsteuer etc). This is charged by your government. Unfortunately this is out of our control, so you will need to pay it.
If you order from
www.procson.co.uk and you are in the UK, your order will be sent out from the UK, so you will not be charged VAT.
If you order from
www.procson.co.uk and you are in the EU, your order will be sent out from the UK, so in 99% of cases, you will not be charged sales tax (Mehrwertsteuer etc).
