Church Pulpit

Arc2 Pulpit - 60cm/24" wide - clear top

About this church pulpit:

This is the 60cm wide Arc2 pulpit with a clear top (no anti reflective film).

The Arc2 range is available in 2 top sizes: 60cm wide and 70cm wide. For churches that need to bump in and out of a venue each week, the 60cm wide Arc2 pulpit is ideal.  The smaller top allows it to be carried through doorways more easily, and it conveniently fits across a car back seat.

The Arc2 range is available with or without anti reflective film on the top. Anti reflective film stops reflections onto a projector screen if you have one. This version has no anti reflective film. If you have a projector screen behind the speaker, you may wish to consider getting the version with the anti reflective film. Most churches purchase our pulpits with this. Click here to learn more about anti reflective film.

The Arc2 church pulpit is better than the Arc1 pulpit. It is stronger, more rigid and more stable on uneven surfaces than the Arc1. Almost all pastors who compare them in person, choose to spend the extra money on the Arc2. You can see the comparison diagram and video on the Arc1 page for more information.

More detail:

This Arc2 is a world leading, Australian made church lectern

The Arc2 is seen on TV on Australia’s Hillsong and other well known churches. It is found in churches from 25 to 18,000 people in USA, UK, NZ, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, the Congo, Uganda, Ghana, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia,  Japan, UAE, India, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Angola, Russia, Ukraine, Cook Islands, Samoa, Malta, Martinique, Mexico, Brazil, Qatar, Paraguay, Columbia, Argentina, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, and South Korea.

Why are Arc2 pulpits so popular?
1. They are slimline. It encourages the congregation to engage with the speaker- there is no barrier.

2. They are lightweight- you can lift it with one hand. It's fairly common for a stage manager to carry the pulpit on with one hand, and the water table on with the other.

3. They use neutral materials (stainless steel and clear/ anti reflective acrylic). In a wooden church it reflects the warmth of the wood. In a modern black auditorium,  it reflects the black interior of the building.

4. They are well engineered. So it feels solid and stable to use, yet you can lift it with one hand. Stainless steel is great because it is durable, but it is also heavy. We have developed a method to make our stems hollow. This keeps the strength, but removes the weight.

5. They are durable- this will possibly be the last pulpit you ever buy. We use 304 stainless steel (the same type of stainless used in high end kitchen sinks). We use acrylic from German manufacturer Plexiglass. In the unlikely event that you damage or break a top- you can buy a replacement.

6. We want them to be the best because we know pastors who use our pulpits (including our own church)

7. They are made in Australia- by us. You get the quality of production of a first world economy.

8. We sell direct to churches. You are not paying for a distributor or retailer mark up (often this ends up doubling the price or more).

9. They are relatively expensive for a church pulpit, but relatively cheap when you compare them to high end Italian furniture. The quality is closer to high end Italian furniture.

10. You can fit it across the back seat of a car (even a small car will be fine). A good tip is to put the centre seat belt over the stem of the pulpit.
It is also easy to disassemble. Many churches dismantle the pulpit completely (or just remove the top) every weekend.

You can see this in more detail in our frequently asked questions section (link).

This version is clear (like a window). It is also good to consider the version with anti reflective film (slightly frosted). Film is mainly needed if you have a projector screen behind the preacher. You can test for this by turning on your stage lights and holding an old style (shiny) CD case where the lectern top would be. If you get reflections, you need the film.

Most churches purchase a cover (see below “you might be interested in…”). This helps to protect the clear top when it is not used.

Requires assembly (tools provided- takes about 5 minutes). All of our pulpits are made by us in Australia and exported all over the world. See below for prices and freight.

We sell this lectern model to Amplivox (Northbook IL) in the USA. They sell it directly, and also on Amazon in the US.
