The style of worship and services in churches has changed over recent years, with churches now requiring pulpits to be moved during the service. This has made the traditional box shape perspex pulpit unpractical, since they are very heavy. Extensive development went into this pulpit in an effort to make it as fully featured, and yet as lightweight as possible. The pulpit features a silver powdercoated aluminium frame to make it as lightweight and yet as strong as possible. The silver legs, clear perspex pulpit panels, and architectural style shape make it suitable for both traditional and modern church settings. The rear panel can be detached, have the name of the church or a symbol/ logo applied by your local sign shop, and then re-attached. A frosted finish could be applied as a privacy panel. The pulpits lower shelf is perfect for church resources, sermon props or water to keep the preacher refreshed. This lectern has scratch resistant acrylic panels for maximum durability. This pulpit was released at Hillsong conference in Sydney in July 2005, and the 2005 Australian CRE (Christian Resources Exhibition). Requires 12 screw assembly (tool provided). Almost all churches also purchase the cover because it helps prevent damage to the top when the pulpit is not in use.
